Valveworks USA Expanding Gate

The Valveworks USA Expanding Gate is an engineered internal sealing component used in gate valves to provide positive shutoff. Its two-piece mechanical construction allows for sealing against both the valve body and seat with exceptional precision. Available in 410 stainless steel and 4130 alloy steel, these gates can be enhanced with coatings such as Xylan®, Nitride, hard-facing overlays, and Nickel.

Each expanding gate is manufactured under tight tolerances to minimize leakage and ensure consistent, bidirectional sealing in severe pressure and corrosive environments. These gates can be configured to meet Pressure Service Levels (2M–20M) and are fully compatible with industry-standard trim classes.
